Spirited Bangladesh youth hockey team face Uzbekistan in their third and ultimate Pool B match of the Men’s Junior AHF Cup hockey competition scheduled to be held tomorrow (Monday) at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, Oman.

The match kicks off at 2 pm (BST).

Bangladesh, which currently stands top of the points table in Group B, have bright chance to emerge as group champion if the boys in red and green able to beat Uzbekistan in their ultimate group match.

Earlier, Bangladesh made an auspicious start competition beating Hong Kong China by 4-0 goals in their opening Pool B match held on Friday last and confirmed their spot of last four after thrashing Sri Lanka by 14-0 goals in their second Pool B match held on Saturday last.

The title aspirant Bangladesh pitted in group B along with Sri Lanka, Hong King China and Uzbekistan while the Pool A consist with Thailand, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia and host Oman.

The semifinals of the competition will be held on January 11 while the final is slated for January 12.
