Bangladesh will launch their Asian Champions Trophy campaign against hosts India at Surjit Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar, Punjab, tomorrow (Tuesday).

The match is scheduled to begin at 6:50 pm Bangladesh time.

The Bangladesh national hockey team completed their final training session at the match venue today, fine-tuning their preparations for a challenging opening encounter against the hosts.

The match will provide Bangladesh with an early test against one of Asia’s strongest hockey sides as they seek to make a positive start to the tournament.

The red and green brigade are determined to put up a competitive performance after working hard to adapt to the local conditions.

Bangladesh will play their remaining group-stage matches against Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and China on October 29, 30, November 1 and 2 respectively.
